Would you like to get an Apple I-Phone for free? How about a designer handbag? Wait. I bet you’re thinking that this will be another one of those “get this for free after you sign up for a million trials.” It’s not.

Bid4Prizes.com is a text-based online reverse auction. A really confusing name for a simple setup.

So how do you get the free prizes ? Simple. You sign up for an account at bid4prizes.com through their secure web form. Don’t worry, the user agreement stipulates that they can’t give the information to third parties without your permission. Once you complete the signup you start bidding. This isn’t a standard auction though. The lowest unique bid will win the prize of the day. If you bid a penny alongside 30 other people, then you aren’t going to win. But if you are the only one who bid $3.83 and there isn’t a lower unique bid, you win whatever they’re auctioning. Bids also grant you tokens to use in the arcade, where you can earn points to redeem for some of the great prizes that they have in their arcade prize room.

A standard account is free as long as you agree to see advertisements before you bid. There is a limit of 20 bids a day. The upgraded account is able to bid without seeing any advertisements, plus the user can bid through their cell phone’s text messaging service, all at the cost of only $9.99 a month. Either way, you can choose an account that’s right for you and start winning some
cash prizes . People who join now will also be able to get in on a sweepstake event that should be coming up soon. If you love free stuff, then this should be your site.
