Automated submission to directories can be done in two ways – either by purchasing a software package for submission or finding a website that does the same.
A web developer would typically be more attracted to the software package because it is an inexpensive way to submit to multiple websites. They can be in a single dedicated or be integrated into a whole site of SEO tool.
Do not think, however, that an automated submission can get you quickly listed in as many directories related to your website. Different directories have different requirements and they are generally the more prudish set of websites around. Many require a careful choice in choosing the categories and sub-categories.
Although submissions software can ease up some of the tedium, you will still be required to set it up properly. You certainly can’t have the submissions software to just blindly submit to as many directories. There are general directories and directories that are niche and cater only to a specific industry.
