The second guideline is that the Chiropractor must avoid expediency, meaning he should stick to his sound chiropractic judgment and not allow other people’s concern to outweigh his decision.
The third guideline is to adopt the best method of treatment. Based on his evaluation of the extent of the injury, a Chiropractor must chose the treatment which he thinks is best for that injury. He should be able to make an objective decision.
The fourth guideline is to act promptly. Treatment must be administered at the earliest possible time. And the fifth guideline is to achieve perfection. It is the Chiropractic goal to make complete recovery. It might not always be achievable, but it should always be the goal.
It has been noted that Chiropractic care for sports injuries proved to be effective, safe, and even enhances the performance of athletes. More teams are now utilizing the services of a Chiropractor as more and more athletes have discovered the benefits of Chiropractic care in the rehabilitation and prevention of injuries, and increase in their performance.
Because Chiropractic’s approach lies in the principle of the person as an integrated being, it is the health care practice closest to the need of someone who has an active lifestyle, especially sports. Another important contribution of Chiropractic to sports medicine is the hands-on adjustment of the spine and joint.
Chiropractors specializing in sports injury underwent training for the specific requirements of sports-related problems. Physicians who are not in constant interaction with athletes often make mistakes in diagnosing and treatment of athletes’ musculoskeletal problems.
Chiropractic’s main concern in the treatment and sports injuries is to have the athlete promptly treated, recovered, and avoids irreparable damage. Sports Chiropractors observe five guidelines in the administration of chiropractic care: First, the Chiropractor must accept athletics. He should treat the athlete without discouraging his athletic ambitions.

Most musculoskeletal complaints are results of injuries sustained in sports. Whether you’re a professional athlete or just a plain Harry, you must have played some kind or sport once in your life- maybe when you were younger. More and more people are now getting into fitness activities. Even women are now into basketball and rugby. Regardless of the form of physical activity, the risk of injury is always present.
It is believed that a lot of injuries can be avoided when the body is functioning normally. That slip on the basketball court could have been avoided if your reflexes were perfect. Or, you could not have joined the marathon if only you have listened to your body’s warning that you are already abusing your muscles. You think that it’s just a case of muscle soreness, but after taking pain reliever the pain comes back.

There are a lot more symptoms of spinal nerve interference that will call your attention and tell you that your body is not functioning properly. You can use Chiropractic care even if you have already been diagnosed to be suffering from some specific illness like asthma, hernia, kidney problems, and even heart conditions.
Depending on the severity of your symptoms and specific condition, there are three levels of Chiropractic care, which will tell you how often you should see a Chiropractor.
Patients who need relief care for immediate pain may only need one visit to the Chiropractic clinic or several visits over a short period of time. If you have long- term spinal problems, you need corrective care. Corrective care requires a longer time and more complicated procedure because the problem has been present for some time. For maintenance or supportive care, you only need to see your chiropractor at least once a month to make sure your spine keeps working properly. This is usually done after relief and corrective care.
Nobody is too young or too old for Chiropractic care. Even your pets can benefit from Chiropractic.
Because bones in children’s body grow rapidly, regular visits to a Chiropractic clinic can help to make sure that the child’s spine is healthy. As we grow older, it is important for us to be aware of our posture. Bad posture can contribute to a stressful day. Chiropractic adjustments can help with posture correction.
Every person in the universe and everyone who has a spine, should treat Chiropractic as a major tool in keeping the body healthy. It should be seen as a significant aid to disease prevention, extending longevity, and improving health in general.
Some common symptoms that you can observe will tell you that you need to go to a Chiropractic clinic for a check-up. If you have leg pain with numbing, tingling, and weakness; if your back or leg hurts when you cough or sneeze; when you find it difficult to stand up after sitting for a period of time; if you are suffering from frequent headaches; if you can’t turn or bend to either side equally; if you can’t sleep well because of some pain; or if you are in pain for more than 48 hours.

Children, adults, and older people- everybody can use some Chiropractic care. Due to the background of Chiropractic, a lot of people think that only those who have bad backs need to go see a Chiropractor. However, with the continued effort toward public awareness about Chiropractic, people are now more aware of the value of Chiropractic in maintaining a good health.
If you are a truck driver suffering from back pain, or an entrepreneur with migraine headaches, a runner with ankle injury, or a grandfather suffering from arthritis, or even a toddler with constant ear infections, you need Chiropractic care to make everyday life easier for you.

His son Bartlett Joshua or B.J. continued his father’s work. B.J. and his wife graduated from Palmer school in 1902. B.J. Palmer developed Chiropractic into a clearly defined and unique health care system and was instrumental in having Chiropractic recognized as a licensed profession. He carried the Chiropractic torch for the next sixty years and made Palmer School of Chiropractic one of the leading Chiropractic schools.
Doctors of Chiropractic have gained legal recognition throughout the twentieth century. This recognition has led to a growing support for the Chiropractic profession all over the world. Researches emerged from all over the world eliciting support for the Chiropractic care and proving it to be cost effective.
Though Chiropractic proved to be effective, it wasn’t widely accepted. The medical community was afraid D.D. Palmer’s success openly criticized his methods of practicing unconventional medicine, and he doesn’t even have a license.
D.D. Palmer was indicted in 1905 for practicing medicine without a license and was sentenced to 105 days in jail and fined $350. Palmer was able to publish two books before he died at the age of 68. The two books of D.D. Palmer are “The Science of Chiropractic” and “The Chiropractors Adjuster.”

The year was 1895 when upon examining of Harvey Lillard’s spine; D.D. Palmer found out that Lillard’s had a displaced vertebra pressing against the nerves. Once he adjusted the vertebra, he was able to fix Lillard’s deafness and heart trouble. Thus was formed the art and science of Chiropractic.
Palmer coined the term “Chiropractic” from the Greek words “cheir”, meaning hand, and “praxis”, meaning action, when he realized that people who came to him with different conditions responded well to his so called “hand treatments”.
Palmer then changed the name of his clinic in Davenport, Iowa to Palmer School and Infirmary of Chiropractic. He accepted his first students in 1898.

The practice of spine manipulation started way back to the third century B.C. with Greek physicians like Herophilos and Hippocrates. Hippocrates, known as the father of medicine, stressed the importance of studying every aspect of the human spine, especially its relation to the nervous system that controls all the body functions.
Throughout history, Chiropractic, with its principles correctly applied, has been accepted and carried on to modern times in the person of Daniel David Palmer. D.D. Palmer, as he was called, was a self-taught magnetic healer. He was able to develop the philosophy of Chiropractic with his discovery of the specific spinal adjustment.

Couples who had unsuccessful fertility treatments also said that even after they abandoned the treatment, their sex lives were still governed by the constraints of procreation. The desire to have children is more prevalent in women. Because of this, some women lose their desire for sex if the treatment proved unsuccessful.
The disruption of the sex life of a couple is just one of the crises of infertility. For couples whose infertility treatments were successful, all the difficulties they went through during that stage was all worth it. Still, what should matter is not the sex life of couples in infertility, but the over-all quality of life.
Women tend to feel ugly, undesirable, and not sexy. They blame themselves for not being able to bear children for their husbands and see themselves as failures in their role as wives. They become less aggressive in bed and lose their sexual appetite. Some even neglect their appearances, which is also a turn off for their husbands.
However, there are also some couples who shared that their sex life improved after learning that they can’t have children. They considered it an intimate thing that they share together and it brings them much closer.
On the other hand, couples on fertility treatment can also experience disruption of their normal sex life. They are told when or when not to have sex since timing sex around ovulation is necessary. This can cause displeasure to the couple because sex between them is not spontaneous anymore. Sex becomes necessary only for procreation and not for enjoyment. Effects could include erectile dysfunction in men and vaginal dryness in women. Both partners may even try to avoid having sex in times other than during ovulation.

Some people complain that pregnancy has ruined their sex lives. How about infertility, how does it affect a couple’s sex life?
Some couples claim that before they found out that they have infertility problems, they had really great sex lives. However, after learning that they may not have children or that it would be hard for them to get pregnant, their sex lives have also taken a dive.
This can be due to the emotional and psychological effects of infertility. Infertility causes such strong emotions as pain, anger, and guilt. All these complex emotions lead to stress and stress can lead to poor sexual performance or even the inability to have an erection in men.

In the case of the microwave oven, merely using the microwave oven to cook your food will not cause infertility, nor does eating food cooked or heated in a microwave oven. If the device is defective and radiation leaks from it, you can be exposed to radiation, which might cause infertility. This holds true not only for microwave ovens, but also for all devices using microwaves or electromagnetic energy.
However, constant exposure to low-level radioactivity can still cause infertility in the long run. This is why environment and lifestyle are among the factors affecting a person’s fertility. Men whose jobs expose them to chemicals, radiation, microwave or electromagnetic energy, such as computer-based jobs, are more likely to be infertile.
Infertility, per se, is not enough reason to end a marriage. It is often times used as an excuse by people who want to get out of a marriage for selfish reasons. While there might be others whose lives are driven by the desire for the continuance of their family names thereby the need to have children, the basic need of forming a family can always be made possible with adoption. The concept of father, mother and child is still complete in adoption. In the same way, you will be helping another human being by providing the family the child needs.
However, if a man or woman kept infertility from her partner before marriage, then the issue is now concealing the condition from the partner, which is deception. Being deceived by someone you trust is such a big blow. Once trust is gone, it is very difficult to gain it back.
In legal aspects, different countries have different laws on the termination of marriage due to infertility. But in divorce cases, infertility is one of the grounds to end a marriage.
